Yes, you have to get the "Music Production Toolkit."

The price is worth it just for the plugins alone, not to mention multi-track beat detective. thumbsup

okay that makes sense thanks. Okay my boss already has the DV productions kit which we haven't installed yet. How does it update the track number. There's nothing that specifically says that. I checked digidesign and it does come with the 48 track upgrade for LE

Both toolkit will provide you 48 track count, regardless of mono or stereo. Just install it and off you go.

I have the MPT with my PTMP, never run out of tracks now.

you sure? i remember somebody selling simply the 48 track feature on eBay when MPT first came out.

i know the plugs are good; but what about ppl who've already got the plugs, and just wanna upgrade the track count?

it comes as a bundle only. IMO worth every damn cent and then some. I would have payed 400 alone for TL Space (which is pretty decent convolution verb). Get it!

dutchmuzik on Ebay has them split up sometimes and you can buy just the 48-track/multi-track Beat Detective authorization.

You could buy it and then sell the individual licenses if you already have them. That is what Dutchmusik was doing on ebay. It can no be purchased with out plug-ins.

Worth it for TL and Beat Detective full. Hybrid is also a decent synth!
