External Drive Size and Audio Performance

I just got a new G-Drive 320 GB external (Oxford 912 chipset) 8MB Cache, 7200 RPM.

G-Drive came highly recommended... Oxford chipsets in all but one of my other drives (a LaCie, and I have no idea what its using, but it works well (knock on wood)).

Question is, this is the largest disc size I have tried to use for audio via Firewire 400.

Have any of you noticed any any audio performance problems with drives larger than 250 GB (320/500/750/TB)? Or is it truly more related to chipset and drive performance in general than to size specifically.

Can someone bring me up to speed on this?

Nobody using a Terabyte on Network Solutions?

500 GB LaCie?

750 GB Disc that isn't RAID?

320 GB?

(In other words, BUMP!)
