Thoughts on Plugsound Pro.. Any users?

Thinking about jumping on the upgrade special (as an owner of Ultra Focus) for $99 before it ends however I have really heard some horror stories about instability and it being a CPU hog as well as the seeming lack of support from the company. I love the sounds though and for $99 it seems to be a no brainier. Anyone using it and what are your experiences and impressions?

One thing that does irritate me is that I would have to pay ANOTHER $75 to get the Ultra Focus soundset with PSP. Considering I already paid 300 for Ultra Focus why should I pay another $75 to get what I already have? I should be able to get the soundset I already purchased for free.

Well let me know your thoughts...
THANKS

Yeah, the silence is deafening...

I only occasionally use the free UVI Player, there are some neat sounds in there. However, it is definitely a CPU hog like no other plug-in I've ever used. Even on a MacBook Pro, I have to increase latency to 128 or more, just to get it to play a few notes. Not good.

I've been using PSP for about six months now. On a mac G5 with 4 Gb ram and Logic it doesn't tax the CPU too much .. but then I'm mostly at 512 samples for other reasons.

Latest upgrade doesn't bug. No problems.

Sounds - very good as allround. I use it way more than I expected. Much better than IK's Sonic Synth. It seems like they focused on patch quality instead of trying to beat everyone else in the gigabyte race.

It's still not the time to replace the XV5080 ..and Spectrasonics' plugs still do it better in their respective areas. But yeah, I recommend the PSP.
