Laptop for Live Electronic Music

Hello gearslutz people,


I am looking to buy a laptop for production and especially live electronic Music.


And I am looking for your advice.


There is a few questions i have:


first of:

I will be using windows and ableton. what are your experiences playing live on windows? stability


My budget for the pc is around 2300 euro.

with 32gb RAM and the Intel Core i7-9750H Prozessor

and an
1 TB SSD, M.2 2280, PCIe, NVMe



is the RAM enough? what about the processor?

what are your thoughts, objections, alternatives?

I would go for a Mac as its stability and reliability of the audio (regardless of which audio interface is being used) easily outperforms that of any Windows machine. No fuzz and lets you focus on your music.

No laptops have even given me more grief than my MacBook Pros, and they're also the most expensive laptops I've owned. My Windows based systems have been so much better in terms of stability, performance and overall "hasslefreeness" that it's not even funny. I'd definitely urge you to look for a manufacturer who specialises in computers and not phones and other gadgets.
