which gear the McDsp ultiamte comp emulates?

Hi there, I was wondering which models is the Ultimate Compressor from McDsp emulates?

I hear that a neve 33609 is there but which one is it? I am not sure.

Also I bought it because I wanted a 33609 compressor model

Thanks

EDIT: I found that is the British one, but I thought that the British one was an SSL comp? Does it have an SSL emulation too?

I think British C is based on a 33609, not SSL. One hint is that it says Recovery, not Release. The ratio and recovery parameters are a closer match as well. It doesn't sound like an SSL to me. I like Ultimate Compressor 6030, but it is a simplified version of a 33609. If you want something more full featured, there is one from T-RackS.

T-RackS Precision Comp/Limiter

Or if you happened to own Nebula N3 or N4, you could get the Cupwise library S-609A which is an actual impulse response sampling of a 33609. Note, this is not a standalone plugin, it requires the Nebula platform by Acustica Audio to run on.

There are probably some other 33609 plugins out there, but I can't think of them right now.
