Question for those using Progressive Foundry SDX

Just curious are the max velocity hits nice and strong? Only after buying SD3 did I read about the weak max velocity hits of the core library. I confirmed this to indeed be true compared to other libraries like Metal Foundry. The kick hits seem to be fine in SD3 but the snares, toms, even the ride hits are extremely weak. I've been looking at Progressive Foundry especially cause it has DW Collectors toms like Metal Foundry (which are my preferred toms) and just want to make sure there's no issues yet unbeknownst to me before I drop the cash. Thanks in advance!

I use Progressive Foundry and find the full velocity hits are hard sounding. Probably depends on the drummer that they sampled with. This dude has some heavy hitting tunes with his band Karnivool. So I believe Progressive Foundry will make you happy in that department.
