Most "high definition" reverbs at the moment [2019]?

By "high definition" I mean "hyperrealism". So I'm looking for reverbs that just sound "like real space", but also "bigger and deeper than expected".

Some initial guesses:

-2CAudio
-LiquidSonics

Use the reverb you have and slap a compressor on after it.

Realistic/Real life-like = Altiverb or any good IR loader with good IRs, 2C Aether and the UA Capitol Chambers also comes to mind - haven't been there personally of course, but damn, that plugin sounds like real life!

Hyperrealistic/Reverbs that can't be found in nature = Lexicons, Briscatis, Eventides, other good algorithmic reverbs and so on.

I'd say : use the reverb[s] you have. Simple as that.

There are WAY too many to be able to say: this reverb does this and that. The processing power an avarage user has nowadays is colossal. never before could we carve the spaces we want/need - as of now and for the future.

One can stack one, two or ten reverbs - each with a varying amount of reverb processing - to create otherworldly spaces.

Dont look for the "best" or "im looking for that reverb in JMJ's Oxygen" [ask that and you'll get an endless list of current "hyped-and-considered-the-best-for-that-day-and-for-that-day-alone-and-for-that-specific-user-who-thinks-it-is-the-best" reverbs.

Just use your ears and create something that to YOUR liking.

Here for the gear

To add to what's been said already: There are all sorts of real spaces that have reverb, some sound very pleasing and some sound like a migraine headache. Just start downloading and demoing some until you find one that achieves the sound you like with the least amount of work (and take some breaks in there.)

For a more natural sound I would also consider placing an EQ before your reverb and cutting everything below 600Hz and everything above 7-8kHz.
