Hi. My most used plugins that lasted past the honeymoon are (in no particular order) Console 1 SSL4000E (used on every track), Waves; R-Comp, R-Bass, MV2, L1 and L2, NI; Replika and Supercharger, plus lots of stock plugins from Presonus and Cakewalk (depending on DAW used).
All the best.

Interesting to me I’ve seen Supercharger mentioned here a few times, seems to be flying under the radar for a lot of people.

It's very nice for adding some "bite and edge" to some things, including being a compressor
All the best.

I love townhouse too, do you use it other places outside the bus?
Yes, occasionally. I use it on busses (e.g drum buss, or drums plus bass), but generally I try and use other compressors there in the (probably mistaken) belief that I'll get a more characterful mix if I use different compressors here and there.

Few instruments sound good operating at 44.1/48, so the sample rate controls are a big plus for Reaktor. On slower machines I may build a track with lower rates and up these for the recording phase.

Reaktor is very deep which can make it daunting. However there is a massive online patch library and they just updated Reaktor with some "user friendly" features and a lot more presets , so it's something to get lost in again

When people list a company instead of a plugin, you're saying you use ALL of their plugins?

In my case I listed companies like FabFilter and Soundtoys because I purchased the bundle with all their plugs and continue to lean on them as go to plugs.

I see a lot of people mentioning Black Rooster VPre 73, I agree also I use it on everything and it didn't cost much from what I remember.

We’re still in the honeymoon, but I’m sure that Arturia’s compressors and I will have a long, successful marriage.

XLN addictive drums two gets on every project, at least until I overdub drums.

Black Box HG2.

Addictive Keys. Just a great palate for songwriting.

I have heard a lot of good things about the Arturia compressors.

Satson/Britson are 2 things that I know I will always have somewhere, with those sweet gentle high pass filters

Only the DMG Digital mode on Trackcomp may overlap a bit with C2 as they are both clean, versatile digital compressors. C2 has more features in this matter.

On the other hand Trackcomp has 4 other circuit modeled compressors; SSL Channel, SSL Buss, LA-2A and 1176, all with extended functionality.

- M.A.A.T audio - superb metering tools
- Brainworx (PA so I don't have to name them all by it's own name)
- Klanghelm
- Eventide
- SoundToys
- FuseAudio Labs
- SIRAudio Tools
- FabFilter
- A.O.M. Factory
- Lexicon Effects
....and definitely native DAW tools should NOT be overlooked here.

You can not get a reasonable answer to this kind of question, since, of course, everyone will name the gear he owns, and second, you'll need to compile statistics on a set of responses, otherwise, only random answers will be displayed.

But you can get a "feel".

Anyway i see this topic like sharing source. I cannot to know every plugin on the earth. But reading i see top pickings from users and depending on my experience and preferences can try new stuff, spending less time on trials and errors.
