Running a Mac and PC.

I formatted (exfat on the Mac) an external hardrive to read Mac and pc but can see only on the Mac ....
(formatted on a Mac)wont see the Mac flies on the pc ???

Unless formated !!!!first!!! (on the pc) exfat??? Then both pc and Mac can see and read either or ?

I have files The pc won’t see even though it’s exfat ....but first formatted on the Mac not pc..

Hope this makes sense . Please let me know

Somewhere I read online that yes you have to first do the exfat formatting on a PC and then it will be read/write compatible for both PC and Mac. It doesn’t work if the formatting is done on
a Mac.

I use Paragon Mac Toolbox sharing VSTI drives and Audio drives. Works flawlessly.
