Bells / Vibraphone / Xylophone - sounds

I'm looking for Bells / Vibraphone / Xylophone sounds. The sounds I'm looking for is found in songs like: John Mayer - Still Feel Like Your Man and John Mayer Waiting On The World To Change. I have not managed to find sounds in my vst collection that work, tips and help please

If you have kontakt there are quite a few libraries that specialise in the type of instruments you're looking for. I'd get clean libraries and processed ones, mix and match depending on the project. There was a clean vibraphone library in spitfire audio's lab range, they're in the process of adding all the old lab kontakt libraries to their new vst plugin (free), well worth keeping an eye on.

Clean kontakt libraries

Pure Jazz Vibes :: Orange Tree Samples

Vibraphone | Virtual Sampled Instrument for Kontakt | Soniccouture

Both these are quite expensive, but have been on sale recently, so it's worth looking through the second hand sellers section here and on kvr, also check out their other libraries.

Processed multi format libraries inc kontakt

TPL | Cassette Vibraphone – THEPHONOLOOP

TPL | Cassette Mallets.01 – THEPHONOLOOP

These are heavily processed but have a nice texture to these ears, on sale till the 13th and a lot cheaper.

Multi-instrument vst for free

LABS

I've got their old vibraphone library, it will come to this vst one day, can't say when, quite handy as it's not processed, worth keeping an eye on.

Another place worth looking for cheap Kontakt instruments is

https://www.kontakthub.com

There will be better options, these are just ones I'm familiar with, you might already have what you're looking for in your collection, hiding, when I start going through what I already have, find loads of stuff that I'd overlooked, too focused at times on getting new instruments and synths. If you want to go down the vst route, aas chromaphone might be worth a look, also sculpture in logic if you're on a mac, using samples and making your own instrument or just chopping loops and arranging it how you like is another option, for sample packs I'd forage in the jazz, neo soul, 50-70's easy listening sections, or just go straight to the instruments you're looking for.
