Quiet Audio Interface?

Hi Everyone,
I'm looking to replace my Focusrite 2i2 interface that I use at my office desk (I use a Duet or MOTU 828 MkII with my Laptop & RME setup in my studio). I'm looking to replace it because it always has a hiss even when nothing is plugged into it. I mainly use this interface for quick voice overs and tracking bass and guitar direct. I am currently using a Daking One or an ISA One as my preamp or DI so I really don't care about the interface preamps (it would be nice to be able to turn them off or set them to unity gain). I'm looking in the $500 or less range. Also, this is a PC or I'd just use my apogee with it.

One of the Focusrite Forte's is very quiet though only available second hand.

An Audient ID14 is quiet also.
