Resetting my Macbook but dont want to loose my Plugins

Whats up guys,
I recently updated my Macbook Pro (mid 2012) from 4gb ram to 16gb ram to attempt speed up my system and further lower the CPU in my sessions. I am currently running Ableton 9 Suite 32 bit, M Audio Box 2Gen 2 output with pretty much everything "in the box." I know what you're thinking... yes 32 bit does not support anything with anything over 4gb of ram, that why I am currently in the process of cleaning my entire computer.. resetting it to factory settings and downloading the 64 bit version of Ableton.

With that being said, I want to keep all of my Plug-Ins. I currently have a small library including Kontakt 5, Massive, Sylenth, Melodyne, Waves Bundle, Amplitube, Ozone, Fabfilter Mastering bundle ect.

Is there a way to save them to my hard drive so that I can still have them when I reset my computer? If so, how should I go about doing this?

Go to the manufacturer's websites and download the installers in your account areas. Keep said installers on an external hard drive so that if you have to unexpectedly do a reinstall, you have the latest versions of everything available in one place. Whenever you wipe your computer it's always a good idea to start completely from scratch and install everything new. (Once everything is installed you can create an image of your fresh install to restore from in the future to save time.)

However, from the tone of your post I'm guessing you didn't pay for these plugins...in which case you're up **** creek. Apologies if you actually did and I'm interpreting your post wrongly.

Buy plugins. Support the developers whose software you use and avoid many headaches.
