How can I accomplish this basic type of Ableton audio warping in Cubase?

In Ableton you can warp audio like this:

In Cubase, if I try to do something similar, I am hampered by the fixed warp tab at the end of the clip:

The final segment of audio is not stretched or compressed in Ableton, but is in Cubase. How can I accomplish the task shown in the Ableton example with Cubase?

Chop it there and then slide it over when you're done squeezing. That's what she said?

Thanks for your reply. Is this what you mean?

1) make a copy of the clip
2) warp the copy as necessary
3) flatten the warp processing in the copy (otherwise it can't be pasted into other clips AFAIK)
4) cut out the desired segment from the copy
5) delete the corresponding section from the original clip
6) paste the warped segment into the original clip

That works, and it's not too annoying. I do wish though that there was an easier way to do it and/or a way that doesn't involve flattening the warp processing.

In case somebody else comes across this, a faster way somebody on another forum pointed out is

1) insert a dummy section containing silence at the very end of the clip
2) enter free warp and place an additional warp tab right where the silence begins
3) squeeze the second-to-last segment containing audio as desired
4) restore the last segment containing audio to its original width by shifting the warp tab that marks the beginning of the silence
5) trim the silence
