Home Pre-amp under $1000

Hi all, Im looking to improve my home studio by investing in a decent pre-amp around $1000 mark. Four regular mic inputs would be enough for me with a couple of DI not too many added gimmicks needed. Mainly wanting to sweeten up my AT2050 for acoustic recordings.

Cheers

If you don't want added gimmicks, use the preamps built into your existing audio interface, or find an interface with decent enough mic preamps. Even my old Aardvark Q10's have decent preamps. I know some people who will spend huge sums of money looking for the holy grail of this and that, when it's really their own expertise in using what they have to the fullest that could improve things, and would mean the most. But if you want to spend nearly $1,000 for your bedroom studio, be my guest

I have no suggestions for mic pre's myself...primarily because I practice what I just said...for my own home studio...which is in a spare bedroom in my home
