How good or bad is "FreeverbToo"?

Hi,

how would you rate the quality of this free reverb plugin?

Info: FreeverbToo
Download: plugins - download

I'm just not sure to use this one over Valhalla VintageVerb for example...

Any thoughts? Thanks!

FreeverbToo was pretty good way for what it was back in the day. The Valhalla stuff is better, IMO. Your opinion might be different though. Try both!

I actually liked the version that came before it better, the regular "Freeverb2", I think it was called. It's vaporware now. The "Too" version sounds more staticky and less rich, but it does have a better GUI and the gating can be useful. There was also a Freeverb3 that came later and it was OK too but sometimes it crashed my host. It had width control and Impulse Response loading too.
