Tune LE vs Autotune - Any Thoughts

Hi,

I recently upgraded an old Wave Gold 4.0 to Waves Gold 5.9 + RenMaxx this bundle includes Tune LT.
I used a "Try Before Buy" version of Autotune which is now deleted and rather liked it's simplicity. As budget is currently rather constrained I can’t just buy it. Having only just started using Tune LT I can’t say much for it myself and am wondering if I should upgrade to tune full wich I think will mean my buying the whole Vocal bundle or just get Autotune.
Maybe Tune LT will be all I need for now.

BTW: does anyone understand this Rewire first and then Tune workaround in Pro Tools?

jsyk, you can upgrade Waves Tune LT to the full version without purchasing the whole vocal bundle:

it's available through any Waves retailer, though i think it is cheapest ($195 USD) at B&H:

fwiw, Steve MacMillan stated he likes Waves Tune over Auto-Tune for correcting vocals with the best formant preservation:
