Do you find RME's TotalMix confusing?

The first few times I used TotalMix, I found it a bit intimidating and opaque. At this point, I wouldn't dare buy another manufacturer's audio interface because I don't want to leave TotalMix behind.

Thank God for Michal in this thread. With his advice, relief in my Totalmix adventures has washed over me in an awesome wave. All I need to use if for now is monitoring selection and headphone mixes. No problem.

You're welcome and I'm glad, it helped a bit. IMO those snapshots (and workspaces, if you happen to need more than 8 slots) in TM are really powerful feature to customize the mixer for common tasks. So if spend some time there and prepare it for your usage scenarios, it can be then very quick to operate during real work.
