Logic: Don't wanna record on the input CH

Hi guys

I got a question regarding the routing in Logic Pro X.

I got 2 channels:
A) Channel A: is receiving signal from the hardware input. On this channel I apply some plugin processing
B) Channel B: This is where I wanna print the signal coming from A.
  1. To pass the signal from the HW-input on CH-A through to the CH-B, the red button "R" has to be active activated the CH-A. As soon as I turn it off, no signal is coming to CH-B.
  2. When I press RECORD-button in the transporter, on both channels is being recorded, coz both have "R" active.
  3. But, I wanna only to be recorded on the CH-B.
  4. So, CH-A just wanna use for processing, not recording.

Is there some workaround?

just solved it via Auxiliary Channel (Options -> Create new Aux).
