About the rolloff I don't know, but someone (a product specialist or a product developer) with better knowledge about the product could answer : post in Facebook group or ask via ticket
Yes thank you, it's a nice picture of the detector circuit that was built for Pink at the time, really great idea!

I'm not sure if that is also your answer to the last part of my findings about the roll-off. I guess it's a thing tech-support should be able to answer in a flash, let's see.
– edit: -ok I see you answered now, thanks!

Once we get the definitive answer .... the Manual should be Up-Dated.

Thanks

Anyone else having an issue with Pink3 where you engage the bandpass filter but it won't disengage?

Also, I couldn't find any info on the filters in the Pink3 manual (frequency, slope).

Yes, same issue. A fix is supposedly in the works.

50/15k iirc, I forget the slope... it was mentioned a dozen or so pages back. The filters don't do much for me either way so I almost never use them.

Here you go....

*The BP switch bug has been reported to AA at time of release, probably in queue for a fix.
Bandpass isn't working at all......Its not only the button....but they will fix it!!

With Studio One 4.5, the CPU load for using combined virtual instruments inside a Multi-Instrument has been reduced by a whopping 70% for Native Plug-ins and by around 50% for third-party instruments like Kontakt. We’ve also added CPU optimization for Mai Tai and Presence XT.

Can someone who works with Studio one confirm if there is improvement with the AA plugins?

I thought I had read that the new version of Pro Tools may also have had some CPU optimization. Anyone tried it with Acquas/Nebula?

It’s a “ tad “ better.

Has anyone noticed an unusual stereo/soundstage effect when using Scarlet? I'm not sure if my ears are fried after having cans on all day.

Scarlet seems to take the frequencies and spread them more evenly across the stereo field... things sound less bunched up. In a way it sounds less wide but more cohesive. Maybe less wide but broader and more even would be a better way to describe. Seems like less errant frequencies poking out and an overall broader, smoother tone.

You probably described it in more detail than I could, but yeah, I love it. Just turning on the pre and opening the filters does some serious voodoo.

will check in the studio tomorrow. haven‘t used scarlett in ages because it really needs to be upped to core 13! I wonder if that will ever happen

This Ultramarine update is great! It seems the meters are mooving in a correct/useful way this time!

But what I REALLY want is the Esoteric Audio Research line to be sampled!!!! Please guys make this happen !!
(with mide side AND parallel option for the Eqs to be useful in mastering situations )

Would love to see the EAR but I'd be just as happy with Scarlet and Green getting a Core13 update. They sound really good but the knobs are a PITA.

Or the Buzz Audion Req-2.2 would be great too. But Scarlet and Green first, please. :D

Scarlet would need to really challenge AlexB's 432 EQ.

That would be a tall order.

I was thinking the same thing. 432 is something else.

The manual was updated 3 days ago. Again it's the Pink filter.

Unfortunately they used an almost unintelligible written in scribble on page 15 to explain it. It needs to be re-done & explained better.

Here's the original PINK (symbol) definition from the Pink user Manual:

Pink ( symbol) button inserts an high pass filter at the detector input, limiting
compression response to lower frequencies while applying additional compression to higher frequencies.

Whether that's changed or different from that Pink symbol definition scribble in the UM-3 manual I don't know.

Was supposed to beta test tonight but I think I know what I’ll be doing instead.

With Core13’s SASM (I think that’s the acronym) I’m excited to drive the preamp a little. See if it has a little more of that ‘softening cohesive mojo’.

Oh and I hope there’s still support for the black skin!
