Logic Pro 9 Bounce or via Aux Channel?

Hi all

I have been preparing a huge arrangement for a mix and wanted to create one stereo track out of several instruments so to have less tracks in the mix.
E.g. I switched the output of four violins to an aux and recorded the sum on a new track (input aux) - all working good.

Alternatively, I soloed the violin tracks, (output send to stereo output, no aux channel) and bounced them - all working good.

BUT, when comparing both tracks with the phase flipped over on one of the tracks they don't null.
No plugins involved, 24 bit, no normalizing.

Does anyone know why this is happening and what to do, which way to go?
Thank you

D.

As far as what to do/which way to go... If they both sound right to you does it really matter if they don't null?

Here for the gear
If you are using sampled violins then most likely they are using a different round robin sample each time so will never fully null.

If you need two identical bounces, why not just use the same violin bounce on two separate channels?
