A new youth movement where the music is piggy back riding on it. Similar to the free love movement in the sixties, grunge in the seventies, hip-hop last ten years. And so on..

PS: There's an embryo of this happening in USA with USA finally discovering EDM and the club culture...

I thought I was there in the 90's being a part of that youth movement. I must have been naive.

I think (or hope) that there will be a new movement in the next few years where music sounds more real and less synthetic, tuned and perfect. Ie bands with musicians will become popular again and bands will record to tape with only minor edits.

Much of pop music is very polished at the moment it makes sense to me that the next phase of the cycle will be more organic, raw but a new sound not retro.
