The 828mk3 is a FireWire audio interface for Mac and Windows with on-board effects and mixing that offers 28 inputs and 30 outputs at 44.1 or 48kHz. Both analog and digital I/O are offered at sample rates up to 96 kHz, and analog recording and playback is offered at rates up to 192 kHz. All inputs and outputs can be accessed simultaneously. The 828mk3 consists of a standard 19-inch, singlespace, rack-mountable I/O unit that connectsdirectly to a computer via a standard IEEE 1394 FireWire™ cable.

I'm using a MOTU 828mk3, but as I'm adding more synths to my studio, I find myself running out of TRS inputs. Just to give a quick idea, I'm running a Nord Stage, Prophet 08, Yamaha DX Reface, Yamaha VSS30, and planning on adding at least 2 or 3 additionnal stereo synths. What would be...
