It looks nice. I use Cubase but I'd love to try DP out sometime, something about it appeals to me. Do they have a demo?

not much in the release that i care about. the pitch shifting thing and audio to midi is neat from a sound designers perspective...

i appreciate that most of the update is productivity enhancement, not more softsynths or other **** i'd find useless.

No, they don't have a demo.
But, I'm sure the crossgrade price is such that you haven't much to lose, IIRC.

It doesn't just look nice, it does everything nice! Seriously... it is the DAW sleeper.
