Maybe this will replace the Echophon? I always thought that thing was a bit pricey for a simple delay module.

Ooo, that new pre-configured system looks cool. Be interested for more detail on that.
Waiting on the morphagene and whatnot might have been a good decision for me.

When i first heard about it, i wasn't convinced, but that hat last patch sold me. I've been thinking about adelay to integrate in my system, and this is just packed with great features and innovative ideas.

A talk between the developers

I couldn't listen to that background loop for 20+ minutes in that interview video.

MN demo was great. Loopop demo makes me want to buy two of these. Killer delay, drone machine and more!
This is why I dream of wires...

PS I am no MN fanboy. I don’t even own a Maths, or any other MN module.

Likewise. Also renaming standard functions is lame.

OTOH the latest demo is interesting and I do like the second delay slew function which is then ganged. The 'feedback synth' sound is very good too but I think the novelty of that would wear out pretty fast.

There are so many ugly designs in Eurorack and people (like myself) tend to mix them higgledy-piggledy which makes it even worse. But I wouldn’t want everything to look like Doepfer either and in the end I think the whole mess of bad styles is rather fun.

Strange, i quite like their style.
There's a lot worse out there in euroland, and at least it's not the dull utillitarian or new-age look.
I must admit i do let aesthetics influence my module choices greatly. That's a conscient choice, if you are going to spend that amount of money on something, you want it to look good, and be enjoyable even when not in use

The feedback synth might be a bit gimmicky, but i'm very interested in what you could achieve with it when combined with differently sourced input material.

The sustained / legato, quantised feedback sounded pretty nice... it reminded me a bit of the Soma Lyra-8, as well as the type of feedback you can get with an electric guitar, as you control the tension of an excited guitar string. I imagine that sound could get tiresome / overused, but it's only once facet of the module.

I don't mind the look of MN stuff, tho it does seem like they go out of their way to save money
on parts. E.g. cheaper jacks and pots, not to mention the pcb panels (tho I like the panels and
understand the benefits). Not that they are the only ones to do that, it bugs me that none
of those savings seems reflected in the price. Seems a bit like cheaper parts, higher prices with MN... *shrugs

Still I am a big fan...

*Not saying they have cheap build quality
either. They just have the cost of higher
end parts, without the high-end parts.
