Another Use Case is to let a Bernouilli Gate determine whether you're triggering a Closed High Hat (say, via Out A) or an Open High Hat (Out B), and now the pattern b/w Open and Closed has clocked Probability deciding which is heard.
And then...
Combine both of my examples to act upon, say, a steady stream of 16th notes...
And now you have two degrees of Probability in your High Hat pattern, the first that selectively *skips* some of the 16ths for variability, *and* you have control over the Closed and Open option, *and* by "playing" those two knobs/faders (whilst tracking or performing) you have a "better drummer" or rather one that's more human feeling and not just a zillion 16ths in a row, nor do you have to programmatically/deliberately sequence those sorts of High Hat variations.
Then... if you're really feeling frisky, use some CV modulation to wiggle both of those Bernouilli Gate Probability params with CV so you don't have to woggle them manually, like a slow LFO or two or both halves of an SQ-1 or two channels of a Voltage Block and so on.
Now your "modular drummer" is way better.
