What hasn't changed is the EMI pouring out of everything. It's worse now. Frequencies are up and shielding is down. But voltages have dropped as well... so that's a good.

Well that's good to hear, and no I don't do backups. I take care of my electronics,
and build my own computers always, that's about it. Cars for instance, unless it's
a project car or motorcycle, I don't take particularly good care of them oddly,
since I have always been a natural with mechanical things I can keep them running
indefinitely for the most part, though they may be beat to ****.
My modular rig cost me no less that 6x what I paid for my car.
