Wavelab 7 - oversampling meters?

Hi there,

We just noticed that playing back a 48kHz-track limited to -0.1dBFS with the Brickwall2 in the T.C. 6000 shows peaks >0dB in Wavelab when SRCed to 44.1 (Crystal resampler).

Obviously those are intersample peaks induced by the SRC.
But I did not know that Wavelab has oversampling meters. Didn't find any info in the manual, either.

Anyone knows that for sure?

It's just showing that the output level is greater than the input.

IMHO wavelab has no inter-sample over indication on any meters, the whole fun on intersample over peaks is that the "output" is still < as 0.00 dB.

in your case after the conversion the file really has some peaks created that are > 0.00 dB .. and therefore you have wavelab giving the + values.

I speak from ver 5.
it would be nice if they added the feauture in 7.

I use RME-DIGIcheck for my checks/ and flying info. Digicheck has the function OVS on the meters
