different versions of L2 hardware ?

Hi all,

Until now i managed to work without an L2, using TC M5000 instead.
Since i tracked down a used hardware L2 it seemed worth trying.

The seller claims it is the latest version (or has some modification installed).
I asked if he meant the external sync input mod. as mentioned in another thread here.
He couldn't make clear exactly, other than "improved accuracy".

So my question is: Are there different versions of the unit or is there an update that improves it ?

thanks,
Peter

I don't think there is a 'latest' L2, the algo is old, er ... classic. Mods in the analog path are possible.

Hi Peter,

someone asked me the same question about a week ago ... same unit ?????
I don't know about any version diff. I checked my unit/backside but's there is no rev or any number/code which assumes there could be a update ....

you could ask Helios/distributor .. if there's any info ...

L2 still sounds great .. now with the croockwood it's easy punch in/out ... you can def. hear it even doing no gain-reduction ...

still thanks for all you're effort in helping me with the acc. in my room .... .. is you're chevy still running !!!

greetings Wim
