Here for the gear

how do i create a dual session audio cd and keep isrc codes

Can anybody please help. I need to create a final mastered (pre-mastered) disc that includes an avi file within a second session alongside the first sesion containing the audio tracks. The only tool i have at the moment is toast 7 titanium - whenever I try an enhanced cd to do this the isrc codes disappear. Does any body know how to solve this?

many thanks

Can't help you wth Toast - but if you have access to a PC then Nero 7 burns Blue Book spec CD Extra masters flawlessly. NeroPortal [Nero - Digital Media Softwares and Audio/Video Technologies]

Also - you might want to convert the avi file to mov in order to have it more widely Mac compatible.

Hi Robin,

The way i've done this (some years ago) was by using two programs (somehow i never solely relied on Toast for audio or enhanced discs, just data).

So i started writing the audio partition first with in Jam including the ISRC's and leave the session OPEN.
Keep the disc in your burner to write the second partition with the video file using Toast (data). Choose disc at once to finish/close the disc when ready.

regards,
Peter
