You've still got a day to take advantage of the 1/2 price offer.

As other have mentioned, imho a Wavelab 'Artist' edition would be welcome.

Was please to find elements can load up montages from pro. At least means you can work round the montage track limit issue.

WL 10.0.50 has a bug in the Windows version. If you move the mouse while the file is playing it stops. Tried different mice and tried WL 10.0.40 and no such problem. FWIW

Oh that's just a minor bug, no one ever moves the mouse while a file is playing

Hopefully by the time I finally get around to moving to 10 PG will have the bugs worked out...

Damn, again - a deep wish that this otherwise fine piece of software, will get much better quality check in the future. Wavelab deserves high priority - as it is, I frankly don't dare updating. What a waste of time and effort on all sides. I still hope for the best.

If I use 125% in scale and layout the problem is there. If I use 100% no problem. Maybe something in the update having to do with type size. Easy fix is to use 100% BUT I would like to use 125% so I can read the screen easier. FWIW

This is what PG said on the WL forum

Generally, I recommend 100% or 150% (for 10.0.50) or 200%
125% is a bit weird and could lead to more rounding errors for graphics.
This being said, in no case, this could explain why simply moving the mouse, without clicking, could stop playback (now I understand your first message).

Cc121 not working

Has anyone got their cc121 working in wave lab 10?
It used to work fine in version 9.5. Just doesn’t seem to light up or do anything. Have tried the remote control settings...works fine in Cubendo.
Still on Mojave no change there.....Just 9.5 to 10.

I tried it on 150% and 200%. It makes WL too big for my monitor and ALSO it does the same thing. If it is at 100% (Recommended by my computer) then all is good. If it is at 125%, 150% or 200% then if I move my mouse then the playback stops. Repeated this at least 6 times changing resolution and even changing out my mouse. Not sure what is happening but the new update 10.0.50 is the only one that this happens on. Suggestions??? WL 10.0.40 and 9.5.50 work with no problems.

I therefore cannot use any other magnification so BUMMER!

I think I have found the problem. With the taskbar set on auto hide, any sudden vertical mouse movement anywhere in the open Wavelab window makes the taskbar pop up, making the Wavelab window inactive. In other programs, the taskbar works normally - move mouse to bottom of screen, taskbar pops up. I can successfully repeat this problem over and over again. This was never a problem on WL 10.0.40 or WL 9.5.50. I guess this is "mystery solved". I now have the taskbar set to always visible and no problems.

What could cause the taskbar to pop up inappropriately?

Me too. At my last attended session back in Feb, the client referred to my studio pair as "your listening glasses".

Listening glasses sounds like a fine piece of studio equipment - as long as Wavelab doesn't stop when you put them on....

Here is what PG had to say on the WL Forum,

I can reproduce the case with WaveLab 9.5 too. Hence this is not new.
But I guess, when you change the Windows scaling, the mouse driver certainly reflects this in a way or another, and some mouse movement you were used too, has not the same effect and could now trigger this "Show Taskbar" effect.

Good to know - maybe it's time to try the new patch.
