Recommended mastering desk with 36U (3 x 12)?

Hello Gearslutz,

I wonder if you have any recommendations for a 36U mastering desk where the units are split into 3 columns of 12.

Of course I've done a Google search and I've found various options, but I thought some people passionate about mastering would be generous enough to share their own inside tips and wisdom on such a desk.

Thanks!

Assuming you want the 36U in the upper racks I'd look for a Sterling Plan C, D or E or a WaveNature Masters Place. The latter can be customized to any size.
Also the Sterling Plan A and siderack(s) might be an option at a smaller footprint.

If you’re handy make one yourself. I did. Pics on my website 24mastering.com

My desk is custom too: 26 units on the upper racks and 12 at the bottom racks: www.solid-mastering.com

Sadly I'm not handy. That looks incredible, however!

This is my desk and I don’t regret the investment.

That's a nice solution I haven't seen mentioned anywhere else before! And the pricing seems competitive, too

Here's one I found that I haven't seen mentioned anywhere much. Seems more geared to producer/engineers; but I like the look of it all the same (and the price).

I really like the modular desks from SessionDesk - https://www.sessiondesk.com/ - German, extendable and modular.
