Are the RND RMP-8 converters good enough?

I was going to buy 32 tracks of RND mic pres ( either Shelfords or just simple Portico 5024) but they have the RMP-D8 which would ad remote recording usefulness. But is the A/D conversion on par with the best conventional converters? Stereophile and audiophile systems excluded because those esoteric pieces are unattainable presently. Once digital, I’ll have to DA convert to mix OTB and sum OTB. So I’m wondering if I could use 2 channels for AD back in. Is the conversion up to the task for quality work? Should I instead go the other route and get dedicated AD/DA boxes?
