I would suggest the Neumann OEduo (single stereo module), for 'more', which is hard to find on the market, because its the best Neumann sounding eq

Is the 80s one different from the one you can buy new?
I do not know for certain that it is an 80s product. I have no idea about the evolution of the equalizer over the decades.

Good luck with your search!

Not really about accepting errors. More about results. Quite simply I've learned from experience that it's how I get better results faster. YMMV.

Drawmer put out a tube EQ with a Mastering detented version.
You could also get EQ sections from mix boards used at the time. The Mixed down version was sent to get pressed.
But probably what you really are looking for are the shelve EQs used for tape to vinyl.

I purchased a Klein & Hummel UE400 for 1000€.

Question:
The Sontec MES-432C is very expensive and rare.
Do you think the ITI MEP-230 will also do the trick for mastering? Its also rare but way cheaper.
Its not stepped but i can live with that.

Well done on the K&H UE400 It's a VERY good and underrated eq (if you don't push it too far). I bought it for quite cheap and it's one of the best "2nd" eq I had in the studio tbh ♥
