Digital Metering

I have a nerd question for everyone:

Are you using any calibration on your metering? I currently use the Klangheim VUMT for all my metering and recently removed the +3db (AES-17) calibration that comes standard on it (in RMS mode) because the Klangheim meter was not matching any meter in my DAW. I will more than likely put the +3db calibration back on as masters just get too out of hand and don't breathe as well - because I am no longer compensating for the +3db. Does anyone else have insight, experience or suggestions on what they use and why?
