mastered track sped up by 2 seconds

Hey there,
Curious if anyone out there has had the experience of mastering a track and the length of the song when bounced is shortened by 2 seconds and sped up slightly?
I mastered the track first in logic at 4824 then bounced in real time(not offline) to 4824. Placed that file in Soundblade HD at 4824, and it is slightly sped up and 2 seconds shorter then the original file in Logic. When I look at the original files in logic they all match perfect and there is no difference in timing whats so ever. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Hey there Jerry,
Thanks for responding. I did double check that the sample rate matched in the edls as well as the project. So strange. I've never had this problem before.

Is t possible that somethng's been set at a full up/pull down sample rate? I don't know too much about this but it's a video thing, and might account for what you're experiencing.

Make a new playlist in iTunes and drag the wav or aif file in. See what the time says there. It'll be rounded to the nearest second, but if it's 2 seconds off, you should still be able to tell if it's different from the original.

Or look at the file properties in Finder.
