Orban 624

Anyone still got one lying around they wanna sell me?

Had one years ago but had to sell it.

Actually very usable and useful for what I need it for which is extra bands when all my analogue stuff is used up in an all analogue session.

Also can be wrapped into M/S which is useful.

Did anyone see Austica Audio did an Orban plugin?! pretty funny.

Also nostalgia about these EQs in mastering rooms and ideas for upgrades and stuff ta

You mean the 642...?

Had one (642b - black face) years ago and sold it... Regret that.

I had the black face as well ... don't regret selling it one bit. it sounded very 'filtery' to me. ie : You could hear that EQ was engaged ... sometimes could be nice for it's emphasis, but I didn't care for it.

I also hear the same thing on the Bettermaker EQ1/2 parametric band. although not as bad. . I very rarely use those bands because of it. I feel it sounds processed even with minimal EQing.

that P-section though ...
