Yamaha MGP32X MGP24x - Users? Info?

Anyone using one yet?
I am in need of an affordable desk for a project but no reviews yet. At what point does the desk become digital? Master section or from the EQ on (as it kind of implies they are based on their digital desks modelled EQ's) It doesn't really explain clearly in the info Yamaha give out.
In any case, any opinions would be cool!
Thx

Basically, this is analog console.

The mixing of the MGP series is analog domain.

As you mentioned, MGP32X and MGP24X have digital master section.
It means there are A/D - D/A converter into STEREO bus.
And you can use digital GEQ and COMP on the STEREO master.

I hope this will be your help.

Buzzing Problems

We recently purchased a MGP32X for our childrens church FOH and the board itself works great, but there is a loud buzz coming from the "power supply" area of the board when it is on. Not from the speakers, the actual console. Not quite sure if it is a defective power supply, or the fan, but from what I can remember, most manufacturers are using silent fans these days.

Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Anybody knows if the subgroups are mono or stereo on the Yamaha MGP32X?

It has a fan!?!
I hate noisy fans, did you get it sorted out?
Would be nice to know if I decide to get one.

Sometimes I'm about to throw my laptop out the window, because of it's fan :-s
