Icon SX-Sub8A Any good?

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone here has experience with the Icon SX-Sub8A subwoofer or knows if the sub is any good. I want to pair it up with my yamaha msp5 but I want to hear what you guys think about them first.

Thanks in advance!

so what do you think about them now!
I'm thinking about to combine them with my Adam A7X...
I found a fairly cheap used one...

Here for the gear

It’s not bad

Hey guys Just brought one of these subs for my home theater setup, and for the price they are not bad. I paid $240 AUS including postage off of eBay.
- Looks nice
-XLR inputs and outputs
-can be joined in parallel
-can be connected to home reciever with XLR to RCA adaptor.
-Nice clear, punchy bass (enough to vibrate your windows)
- No static noise when sitting idle
-Inbuilt amp can push the driver to the max without getting overly hot. (with no distortion)

- My unit’s port was loose and I had to silicone it back in place
-The speaker wires are wrapped around the port making an Anoying noise when they vibrate against it. (My solution was to wrap the port in foam)
-when unit goes to idle mode it makes a audiable pop noise.

For the price I would recommend this unit to anyone on a budget who would like to add some bass to their system. The unit came packaged well.
Not sure if all unit will have the issue with the port and speaker cables.
