Sup People!

I'm looking for a (USB/Firewire, doesn't matter ) Audio Interface with clean and "good" (Yeah, good ) sounding Mic Preamps.
Don't care about the price, just want to collect some ideas from Low- to High-End Gear.

Profire 2626 has worked wonders for me.

Universal Audio APOLLO-DUO Audio Interface w/ DUO Core Processing. My mentor has one and I am convinced and am saving up for one as we speak.

Considering that most interfaces HAVE preamps, and that the preamps in these interfaces have been discussed several times at least for the popular and current models, I find it difficult to believe that the only thread you found pertinent to your question was 3 years old.

Despite being 3 years old, there is still nothing wrong with resurrecting it.

If you are on a mac and need only 2 channels I'd say go for the MH ULN2.
