How does it get used in a production typically....

Good for 60's spy movies right?

And 'surfs up' stuff? Like Link Ray?

I use it on rock/metal records alot.
I ve seen tuned b-b and a-a.

Ive used the Dano, its ok.
But Yamaha and Tom Anderson both make versions that are very nice, and much hotter output.

Its a perfect sonic fit beteween bass and guitars.

I love it!

take care

The guitar in the Dave Matthews Band "Space Between" song is a Jerry Jones bari. I have a Dano myself and it rules!

Here for the gear

i could care less about what dave matthews plays. they used one on steve earles "guitar town," nuff said. when recording my album, we used a dano for one song. it sounded great and really made the track. now all you need is a mandolin, a banjo, an accordian, and a pedal steel! oh yeah, and a tele with brass saddles and a maple fretboard.
