Thinking of buying a pair of AA CM54's

Hi,

I'm just wondering if for the price point ($460/pair), if there is anything else I should be considering too? Dave from AA did a mic mod on my MXL 2001 which I quite like, but just want to make sure I'm not missing out on anything worth considering when deciding on a pair of SDC's.

thanks.

If you don't mind omni, Little Blondie mics are amazing. I love mine. They're made by one of our very own GS'ers too. Good guy, good customer service, AMAZING mic.

I have one... At first I liked it. The more I use it, the less I like it.

If you need neutral/flat mics that will let you record anything without any major coloration, a pair of Line Audio CM3's should be on your list... beat any china sourced SDC... hand made in Sweden and surprisingly affordable. PM me if you'd like some clips.
