Question multisampling korgm1 piano question

So I got an akai s1100, my friend has an s1000.

I'm going to send him a disk of a multisampled korg piano, I have the korg m1r. to save memory, do you think I can get away with just sampling all the C's and F#s? or would it sound odd in places?
If not 2 per octave then maybe 3? and if that < then which keys? Thanks

Why not try it for a couple of octaves and see how it sounds?

I would sample from C then skip two notes i.e sample every two notes. Leave -6db headroom.
