$650 is a good price as they are seling for way over $800 at some online stores...enjoy it, it will last you a long time and get better with age...

Well done, sir. I have two Taylors and I absolutely love them. A 614ce and a T5. Wouldn't give up either one for anything.

Congrats. I also bought my first Taylor this year, and it's a thing of beauty. Plays and sound amazing, and is impossible to get sounding bad unless your at bad guitarist!

I have a 114 too and it's the best acoustic guitar I've ever laid hands on.

Mine has no finish on it. When I bought it, I also auditioned a 210 which had all the finish on it etc. The sales guy instantly agreed with me that the cheaper 114 was in a different class. The marriage of wood, strings and steel hardware can be a random thing sometimes.

You picked the best one - that one records as well as any guitar in their more expensive lines. Only slight negative for those considering one is the nut width is a little thin if you like a wider neck. It's 1 and 11/16 where the 3 series is 1 and 3/4, a little more room for fingerstyle. But for sound, you can't go wrong.
