Audio Sub-bass enhancer (plug-in, AU or VST)?

hi all,

does anyone know of a sub-bass enhancer plug-in, similar to the device in Logic (or maybe it's in Tools, Im not sure).

It enhances the sub bass frequencies, to the point where it turns any audio source into a bassline (or just about). Without sounding bad (within reason, of course).

Looking for something similar, to use in Ableton. So preferably AU or VST format.

cheers,
Sam

Waves MaxxBass does this.

As in, it just adds low end sub bass harmonics.

IMHO you're better off simply putting a really low sine wave down there that follows the bassline or kick.

Waves MaxxBass, Waves Renaissance Bass, UAD VOG (however you'll need a UAD card for this...)....other than that, i'm not sure...usually i use the UAD Pultec, but thats not so much enhancing the bass so much as its an EQ plug...

Here for the gear

PSP Audioware MixPack 2...look for the mix saturator and use the contour1 preset first and adjust from there...it sounds like magic laced with crack

Ok yes, logic 9 has it!...obviously press command+2 to get the mixer up. When you click the insert and the menu for the plugins drop down, its under Specialized>Sub bass
