I'd buy a studio and only record songs about how much I hate my dad... with my dad's money.

If you're already rich there's no point in getting into the music biz. Kick back and relax.

Go to a recording school where they will give you the homework assignment to price out a recording studio with a fantastical budget.

Post your question on Gearslutz and be frustrated when nobody believes that you really are a trust fund kid.

I'll volunteer for the entourage! I can be "The cool artistic audio geek guy".

Oh, wait, I can't. I'm actually old and boring. And not even a proper geek.

I guess I would apply the philosphy of a good friend of mine who is in the vintage instrument business who said "the only way to become a millionaire in this business is to start out with 2 million".

Buy out America's Got Talent and then rig it so you get some quality air time. This is your moment!

buy only the best, most expensive equipment. then create teh greatest records ever created by recording the most brilliant new artists who go on to make millions. then give interviews that bring you a world-wide fanbase, culminating in your run for the White House.

you're welcome.

I would start a multinational corporation and take over the world.

I would also start off with an sm57 and maybe an art pre or something like that and go from there.

Kinda like the farmer who wins the lottery and reporters ask him what he'll do with the winnings and he sez: "Oh... probably keep farming 'til the money runs out."

Cheers,
