Soon, you'll be checking "deal of the day" for another inexpensive mic at a stupid price that's a bit different from what you already have...

...I haven't had shakes or night sweats... yet....

That means you're still getting your fix regularly?

My List:
Baby Bottle
Beta 58a
2x 12 Gauge Mics (red omni's)
Countryman B3

EDIT: Ugh, I have over a thousand dollars in mics... and I still have plans for a second 7b, an MKH416, and some kinda ribbon. And we all know how the best laid plans of mice and men tend to work out.

No, I have been putting together a mostly analog guitar pedal set-up. But the board is full now...

I managed to add an AKG C-5 while surfing CraigsList for used pedals, though.

Or switched to an oxygen bottle to reduce my need for air....

My "locker" is a fledgling one, but it's finally underway...

Rode K2 (my main mic for literally years...since 2006/7-ish!)
Shure SM58
AKG C214 (this arrived this morning!)

As you can see, I've got tube LDC, dynamic, and FET LDC bases covered at the moment. I was thinking of picking up one of the many cheap ribbons that are about these days, as they seem to do remarkably well for the price... (though that will probably have to wait until I've got my 500 series rack and pre-amps that will be needed to drive it... ;-) )

In other news, I feel like I might be getting GAS...

With a few additions before the end of this year, I'll hopefully have:

AKG D112 (kick batter)
Yamaha Sub Kick (kick reso)
Audix OM 6 (snare bottom)
Earthworks QT 30 Pair (hi-hat, snare top)
Neumman KMD Pair (overheads)
Oktava MK012AM (gongs, timbales, chimes)
Soundman OKM II, Schaller 722, Microvox M305 (various pick-ups)

That's in terms of drums but I'd record anything else in my caveau with the same mics in some combination and yes, I record snare and hi-hat with Earthworks mics.

Would not mind a Brauner Phantera. How is it, Thmm?

1x Turner Model 99 (1930s or 40s awesome harmonica tone!)
2x Shure SH55

Came from a live audio background, hence the big collection of stage dynamics.

The studio came furnished with At4033s ,AT4040s and AT4041s When I took over. The AT4040's and an AT4033 were unfortunately stolen >:(
The studio had fairly accurate and clean mics but nothing really colorful... I'm working on that!

I'm looking to add a couple LDC multipatterns and a decent Tube condenser soon. I have tube preamps but want to add the tube mic vibe to the room. I really want to get a pair of MD421s again plus I really miss my old modded Oktava 219s on acoustics. So I may give in and grab one or two of those.

Overall the AT4033 is the workhorse followed by the SM57 on drums and some amps. I love my voice through the Victor but prefer the 4033 as the go to for vocals for many singers.

Most daily work gets done by these 3 mics:

1 Rode NTK
2 CAD M179s

--> Great River pre --> Lynx

If I had to go to a dessert island and had only 3 mics and $800, as of this moment thats what I'd take.

These sit in the locker unless I'm tracking drums or the CAD and Rode don't work:

1 Rode NT2
1 Studio Projects C1
2 Studio Projects B3
2 SM 57s
1 AT 4033
1 AT 3525
1 AT Pro 25
1 MXL v67
2 MXL 603s
2 MXL 1006s
1 ECM 8000
