Whats a better comprssor

Berhenger or dbx

i forget the model numbers and cant find them online the berhenger cost $109 and the dbx cost $150

Stay away from Behringer. Not that the cheap dbx will be much better, but at least you're not supporting a criminal company. heh

Indeed, RNC is the king of budget compressors. The only reason not to get it is if you need dual mono operation at that price.

go with the dbx! I have found in my expierience that you get what you pay for, and I made the mistake of buying a piece from berhenger ( a pice of **** really), needless to say, that will never happen again. dbx is a reliable company, but if you got the $ spend 300-400 on a better compressor.

They are both in about the same catagory, not so good. You should listen to them and decide, or better yet buy an RNC. Or even better, i.m.o. you could get an old MXR dual limiter for about the same price that would be better than any of them. As a matter of fact I have an extra one for sale. 150 bucks and it is yours.
