Liquid Channel w/ 003?

I just picked up the Focusrite Liquid Channel and am trying to figure out the best way to use it with my 003.

Should I use SPDif into the 003 for the best quality or just go analogue?

Should I connect the wordclock?

any and all help is MUCH appreciated.

thanks!

Opinions vary, friend. I find it useful.

Nice unit, I have been curious about tracking with it for a while now.

After using a UA 2192 for conversion on my Digi 002, I am not too crazy about using the Digi's converters, I would definately use the SPDIF connections. I did read the specs on the improvment to the 003 converters, but am still doubtful. How have they worked for you?

I would think that using word clock is a good way to avoid data errors, but I dunno if you can use it at the same time as SPDIF with the Digi 003.

I was surprised to find out that you need a F/XLR to M/RCA adapter for the AES output on the Liquid Channel to interface with the S/PDIF digital input on your digi 003.

Let us know how it works out, I have read mixed reviews but am staying positive about the liquid channel.
