Focal Solo 6 or save up more for Twins?

Hi,

I am looking to buy new monitors. I make House/Electro music where there is a big bass kick and basslines but never below 40Hz(I always roll these frequencies off). I did have a pair of NS10m but sold them as I needed more detail below.

Now I have heard extremely great things about the Focal Line of products.

What I would like to know for my style of music would I have any problems mixing with the Focal Solo 6's? especially in the low end.
I can wait a month or so to invest in the twin's but once learning the solo 6's would it really be necessary as I would love to spend this extra cash elsewhere in my studio.

I guess the main thing is I am looking for is excellent translation to other systems and less tearing my hair out saying things such as "this sounds like **** in my car!"

Thanks

Kind Regards,

Karvan

PS I am in a small room that is treated with bass traps\insulation. And I do not want to invest in sub as I don't like mixing on them.

If you don't like the idea of adding a sub later on, save up your money and get the Twin 6's. I find the low end on mine to be very satisfying.

Most Twin 6 users never feel the need for a sub but I have seen several Solo owners that decided to add a sub down the line.... as always YMMV.

Thanks mate. Yeah I put a desosit on the twins. Even though this means I have to wait an extra months I think it will worth it. I heard the bass is tighter and that seperations of highs, mids and low end is superb as well. Geez I can't wait for them!
