Acoustifying the Celing, Good Idea or Waste of Time?

Hi GS,

I have a room that's approx 12x14 wide with about 11' high ceiling.

The biggest doubled reflections tend to rattle across the top of the concrete ceiling.

My walls are about half rug, half...hard? and in a 3D sense it's hardly a cube. With a control room built into it, it's more of a wedge.

I was thinking of putting owens corning in the upper corners, but was also wondering if putting some kind of absorption on the top middle would help break up things a bit?

Would that possibly be a move in the right direction? It's going to be a chore, but I feel it could help control my standing waves a bit.

Here's pics of the room if that helps:

You'd probably do better to hang a cloud or two in there with absorbtion on the back.

I already have a couple suspended baffles. They work alright I think.
